4Cadillac Confidence - Complimentary 5 Year/60,000 Klms Scheduled Service
Under the Program, Cadillac LYRIQs purchased from General Motors Australia and New Zealand Pty Ltd are entitled to receive from authorised Cadillac service centers free scheduled servicing for the earlier to occur of 5 years from vehicle registration or 60,000 kms (being 5 scheduled services). Scheduled service intervals are every 12,000 Klms or 12 months whichever comes first. Please note that it is your responsibility to adhere to this service schedule to ensure the proper maintenance of your vehicle and that there are no additional non-covered services or items required that arise as a result of a failure to adhere to the schedule.
Scheduled services covered under the program include all replacement and inspection service items listed in the service schedule for the applicable service as detailed in the owners manual. This includes but is not limited to a Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection, coolant change, brake fluid, pollen filter change, tyre rotation as required, windscreen washer fluid, quality check and road test.
Additional service or maintenance items which are not included in scheduled services are not covered under the Program. The authorised Cadillac service centre will discuss such additional costs with you prior to performing any additional work. These excluded items, include (but are not limited to) normal wear and tear items requiring periodic maintenance (e.g. brake pads, wiper blades, 12 volt batteries, tyres, wheel alignment adjustments); any servicing required as a result of the fitment of non-genuine Cadillac parts or accessories, accident damage to any chassis, body or driveline components, adjustments not specified in the standard service schedules for normal operating conditions set out in the Service and Warranty Booklet and additional maintenance and repairs recommended by the Customer's authorised Cadillac Service centre to suit individual driving characteristics.
As these are complimentary services, there will be no reimbursement for any scheduled services not redeemed within the eligible period for any reason, including but not limited to, where the vehicle is sold or damaged beyond repair.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
• to cancel your service contract with us; and
• to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
5In Australia, all vehicles purchased through Cadillac ANZ will come with 1 year of free public charging provided by Chargefox, and the choice of one (1) 7kW Autel MaxiCharger AC Lite home charging unit with standard installation by JET Charge OR an additional 2 years of free public charging from Chargefox in Australia. The standard installation scope includes a single-phase, dedicated electrical circuit with up to 15 metres of copper cable, installation of an isolation switch near the charging unit and installation of electrical circuit protection. More information on standard installation with JET Charge can be found here. If the infrastructure available at your home does not meet the criteria for a standard installation, your installation will be treated as nonstandard. Cadillac will cover costs for nonstandard installs up to the value of a standard installation, and JET Charge will provide you with a quote for any additional costs or variations. Apartment installations are excluded from this offer.
