WHICH VEHICLES OFFER CONNECTED SERVICES?

All new Cadillac vehicles come with Connected Services for an 8 year complimentary trial period. Model year 2025 LYRIQs will require a complimentary upgrade at a Cadillac Service Centre later this year to enable Connected Services. A Cadillac Representative will contact you to arrange this complimentary upgrade once it is ready for your vehicle.

HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY CONNECTED SERVICES IN THE CADILLAC APP?

You will be shown how to pair your Cadillac and activate Connected Services at time of delivery. To pair a vehicle or activate Connected Services, launch the Cadillac mobile app and select “Add Vehicle”, then follow the prompts.

DO I NEED A GOOGLE ACCOUNT TO USE GOOGLE BUILT IN?

Although you don’t need a Google account to use the system, your experience will be the most personalised if you’re signed in.

HOW DO I SIGN INTO MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT?

You can sign in to your Google account by tapping your profile name and selecting “Manage Profile.” You may be prompted to sign in the first time you open Google Maps or Google Play.

DO I NEED A CADILLAC (GM) ACCOUNT TO USE FEATURES WITH GOOGLE BUILT IN? HOW DO I CREATE ONE?

Yes – Google built in requires Cadillac Connected Services which is activated through your Cadillac (GM) account. Your Cadillac Account, which is your user profile in the vehicle, is different from your Google Account. Your Cadillac Account is the same account you use to access your other vehicle services, such as the Cadillac mobile app and owner resources. Signing in with this account ensures your personalised settings, such as your favourite radio stations and your paired phone, are remembered in the vehicle. Your Google Account, should you choose to use it, brings additional personalisation into the vehicle tied to other Google apps and services you may use. For example, your saved home and work addresses will appear in Google Maps in the vehicle.

CAN I ADD FAMILY MEMBERS OR FRIENDS TO MY CADILLAC APP TO SHARE VEHICLE INFORMATION, COMMANDS AND ACCESS?

No – currently family sharing is not available in Australia or New Zealand. Cadillac is constantly evaluating new technology for its vehicles, software and mobile app. We will communicate new updates and features as soon as they are ready for customers.

CAN MULTIPLE CADILLAC ACCOUNTS ADD THE SAME VEHICLE TO THEIR GARAGE?

No – a vehicle can only be added to one account garage at a time. You can make a vehicle available to transfer by first removing it from your account.

I’D LIKE TO TRANSFER MY VEHICLE AND CONNECTED SERVICES TO A NEW OWNER OR DRIVER. HOW DO I DO THIS?

In order to transfer your vehicle to another user, you will need to remove it from your Cadillac account and garage. Select your profile icon at the top right (this typically has your initials) and select “Manage My Products”. Follow the prompts to remove the vehicle. Once removed, a new user or owner can select their profile icon followed by “Add Vehicle” and follow the pairing or VIN scanner prompts to add the vehicle to their garage.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE BALANCE OF MY COMPLIMENTARY TRIAL PERIOD IF I TRANSFER MY VEHICLE?

Connected Services complimentary trials are linked to their respective vehicles. If you transfer your vehicle, any balance of the 8 year complimentary trial will transfer with the vehicle.
